Job summary

Sitech Technology Systems Ltd is recruiting a Field based Machine Control Engineer to install, calibrate and service Trimble machine control systems on heavy equipment. You will measure installations, troubleshoot hydraulics and electronics, and work with customers across SITECH/Trimble ecosystems.

Remote nationwide coverage and occasional travel required. The role includes on-site training, customer support, and collaboration with the Installations Team Leader to meet project goals.

Qualifications

• College or vocational qualification in Mechanical, Hydraulics or Electronic or similar engineering.
• Recent demonstrated ability to troubleshoot hydraulic and electrical issues on heavy equipment machines.
• Familiarity with construction site operations using heavy equipment machine control systems is desired.
• IOSH, RAMS, Health & Safety awareness with an upto date CSCS card.

Responsibilities

• Installation – primary resource in providing on-machine installation across SITECH/Trimble equipment.
• Service – maintenance, support call-out and troubleshooting across OEMs and customers.
• Measure & calibration – calibration of machine control equipment in field installations.
• Training & development – operator training and onboarding; ensure high standards.
