Job summary

Kiwa is seeking a Lighting Technician to inspect and test street lighting for highways across the UK. The role is field-based, requiring travel to client sites and on-site work with the team.

You will contribute to data collection, reporting, and corrosion investigations while representing Kiwa CMT with clients. We offer comprehensive training, a generous benefits package, and opportunities for growth within a dynamic, safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a Full UK driving license and be willing to travel to client sites.
• Ability to work independently, manage varied workload, and communicate clearly with clients.
• Interest in the field and a collaborative team worker mindset.
• Willing to stay away from home for assignments; previous related experience is desirable.
• HERS ECS card and HEA NVQ level 2 are desirable qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Carry out structural inspection and testing of highway lighting columns.
• Communicate with clients and colleagues on-site.
• Record electronic test results accurately for reporting.
• Work with UKAS-accredited systems.
• Collect data on highway assets and conduct corrosion investigations.
• Represent Kiwa CMT on site with customers.
