Job summary

Arcus FM Limited is seeking a skilled lighting specialist or electrical-bias engineer for a field-based role across Essex, North London and East Anglia. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance on lighting and electrical systems, diagnose faults, and ensure health & safety compliance while delivering top-quality service to clients.

The role offers a competitive salary (£36,910), company van with personal use from day one, up to 4% bonus, overtime at time-and-a-half, 25 days leave plus

Qualifications

• Recognised apprenticeship or qualification in M&E services/maintenance.
• Essential Qualifications: 18th Edition.
• Desirable Qualifications: F-Gas, Test & Inspection, Unvented.
• Previous experience in a similar role (retail or commercial experience preferred).
• Valid UK driving licence (essential).

Responsibilities

• Performing planned and reactive maintenance on lighting and electrical systems.
• Diagnosing and resolving faults in electrical equipment.
• Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations.
• Providing technical support and expertise across multiple sites.
• Liaising with customers to deliver outstanding service.
• Supporting and mentoring apprentices and junior engineers.
