Job summary

Shaw Trust is recruiting a Supported Employment Team Leader to guide a team of Employment Specialists in delivering high-quality, person-centred support. The role focuses on leading practice across community settings, driving performance and continuous improvement while embedding the five stages of Supported Employment and SEQF standards.

The post involves extensive field mentoring and stakeholder engagement across local services, with travel across the contract area and no fixed office base.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of Employment Specialists that deliver exceptional service quality and excellent participant outcomes.
• Drive contract performance, quality standards and SEQF Quality Framework through supervision, field mentoring, coaching and continuous improvement.
• Build and maintain productive relationships with employers, referral partners, commissioners and community stakeholders, supporting sustainable employment opportunities for participants.
• Use performance data, participant feedback, co-production and quality assurance activity to improve services and maximise outcomes.
• Lead and support quality reviews, SEQF assessments and continuous improvement activities, overseeing the implementation of improvement plans across the team.
• Strong leadership, coaching and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
