Job summary

National Grid is seeking a Field Hardware Asset Associate Analyst in Plymouth for its EUC team. The role focuses on managing IT hardware assets, ensuring data accuracy, and delivering insights to support essential technology services.

You'll work in a flexible, hybrid setup, collaborating with many stakeholders across IT&D and operations, while developing skills in asset management and governance.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with MS Office and data reports.
• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Strong planning and analytical thinking.
• Experience in IT asset management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle of IT hardware assets and ensure accurate recording.
• Produce regular asset stock reports and insights.
• Support environmentally responsible disposal following WEEE processes.
• Monitor compliance and improve asset management governance.
• Investigate discrepancies in asset records to maintain data integrity.
• Coordinate hardware deployments, returns, moves and leavers.
• Generate management information and trend analyses for decision-making.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of asset management systems and processes.
• Participate in inventory audits and asset verification.
• Build relationships with teams across National Grid for asset support.
