NatCen is seeking a Field Interviewer to visit homes in Ayrshire, conducting research interviews on topics like health, housing and transport. You’ll use a tablet or laptop to guide conversations that capture real experiences and help inform policy and services.

This part-time, on-site role requires driving, DBS clearance, and flexible hours including evenings and weekends. You’ll be part of a team collecting data that improves lives across Britain.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence and sole use of a car
• Class 1 Business insurance
• Right to work in the UK
• Willingness to complete a DBS check
• Reliable home broadband
• Laptop or tablet with camera
• Comfortable using basic technology
• At least 18 hours available per week
• Flexibility for weekdays, evenings and weekends
• Strong verbal and written English

Responsabilités

• Visit people in their homes to conduct interviews on health, housing and transport.
• Use a tablet or laptop to guide conversations capturing real experiences.
• Be out in the community, knocking on doors; some may not answer.
• Deliver interviews that help improve lives.
