Job summary
North East Heating Solutions is seeking a skilled Plumbing and Heating Engineer to join our field-based team in the North East, with travel across the region. You will install, remove and commission hot water systems in domestic homes, and collaborate with our electrical team on modern electric heating projects.
The role emphasises practical, hands-on work, problem-solving on-site, and delivering high-quality service while adhering to safety standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a plumber or heating installer.
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing and Heating (or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of domestic hot water and heating systems.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Gas Safe registration is not required.
Responsibilities
- Install, remove and commission hot water systems in domestic properties.
- Install and test water systems and connect to system controls with electricians.
- Pipework installation and connection to water supply.
- Fault finding, diagnostics and pressure testing.
- Maintain accurate records and assist warehouse/stock control.
- Provide high level of customer service on site.
