Job summary

North East Heating Solutions is seeking a skilled Plumbing & Heating Engineer to join our field-based team. You will install, remove and commission hot water systems in domestic properties, and work with our electrical team on modern electric heating installations.

This role offers travel across the North East, a salary £35k-£40k depending on experience, and a supportive, family-run environment that values high-quality workmanship and customer service.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing & Heating (or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of domestic hot water and heating systems.
• Gas Safe registration is not required.

Responsibilities

• Remove existing domestic heating and hot water systems (cylinders, tanks, pipework).
• Install, commission and test hot water systems.
• Install pipework and connect to water supply and system controls.
