Job summary

Falcon Tower Crane Services Ltd is seeking a Generator Engineer to join our Power Division. The role is field-based with depot work guided by business requirements, offering a minimum of 40 hours per week with overtime as needed.

Compensation ranges from £17.00 to £23.00 per hour and will be discussed on application based on experience and skills; a comprehensive benefits package accompanies the position.

Qualifications

• Technical electrical or mechanical engineering qualification is required.
• Experience as a diesel Field Generator Engineer with maintenance/repair of diesel generators, hybrids and/or battery solutions.
• Strong knowledge of diesel generators, hybrids and/or battery solutions.
• Strong electrical understanding to install and decommission equipment on sites.
• Full clean driving licence with ability to tow trailers.
• Forklift ticket is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the service and office teams in a range of areas.
• Undertake minor and major services on generators and ensure units are ready for hire.
• Attend breakdowns and perform routine maintenance at customer sites and the depot.
• Deliver, install and remove equipment at customer sites.
• Prepare equipment for hire and keep documentation up to date.
