Job summary

Falcon Tower Crane Services in the United Kingdom is seeking a Generator Engineer to operate on a field-based basis with depot duties. You will service and repair diesel generators, hybrids and battery solutions, and install or remove equipment at customer sites.

The role offers 40+ hours per week with overtime at 1.5x, a pay rate of £17.00–£23.00 per hour, and benefits including a pension, company vehicle and phone. A technical engineering qualification and a clean driving licence are essential.

Qualifications

• Technical electrical or mechanical engineering qualification.
• Experience as a diesel Field Generator Engineer with maintenance/repair of diesel generators, hybrids and/or battery solutions.
• Knowledge of diesel generators, hybrids and/or battery solutions.
• Electrical understanding to install and decommission equipment on sites.
• Full clean driving licence with towing trailers.
• Forklift ticket.

Responsibilities

• Support service and office teams across a range of activities.
• Perform minor and major services on generators.
• Prepare equipment for hire and attend breakdowns.
• Carry out routine maintenance at customer sites and in the depot.
• Deliver, install, and remove equipment on customer sites.
