Job summary
Falcon Power Generation is seeking a Generator Engineer to cover field-based work with depot responsibilities. You will perform services on our generator fleet, conduct breakdown support, and prepare equipment for hire, including installation and removal at various customer sites across the UK. Working hours are driven by operational needs with a minimum of 40 paid hours weekly.
Overtime is paid at 1.5x. Benefits include a pension scheme, life cover, a company vehicle and a company mobile phone,
Qualifications
- Technical electrical or mechanical engineering qualification.
- Experience as a diesel Field Generator Engineer with maintenance/repair of diesel generators, hybrids and/or battery solutions.
- Strong knowledge of diesel generators, hybrids and/or battery solutions.
- Strong electrical understanding to install/decommission equipment on sites.
- Full clean driving licence, tow trailers.
- Forklift ticket.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and service our fleet of generators and hybrid/battery systems at customer sites.
- Attend breakdowns and perform routine maintenance and inspections.
- Prepare equipment for hire and ensure readiness for delivery/installation/removal.
- Deliver, install and remove equipment across customer sites as required.
