Toyota Material Handling UK is seeking a skilled Forklift Service Engineer to maintain, repair, and service our range of forklift trucks and material handling equipment across customer sites in the UK.

The role involves fault finding, servicing, and delivering high-quality after-sales support. A full UK driving licence, strong mechanical aptitude, and customer-focused communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience working as forklift engineer, plant fitter, plant technician, industrial equipment, or similar role.
• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Strong planning and organisational skills are essential.
• Ability to work on own initiative and deliver results.
• Excellent communication and customer-relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, overhaul, fault find and resolve faults on company products.
• Respond to breakdowns and provide local after sales support to customers.
• Deal promptly with customer enquiries, problems or complaints.
• Keep control of vehicle stock and deliveries; achieve agreed targets.
