Job summary

Toyota Material Handling UK is seeking a Forklift Service Engineer (Field Technician) to join our After Sales team. You will maintain, repair, service and modify our range of products and respond to breakdowns across the UK.

You will provide local after sales support, manage stock and deliveries, and work to achieve targets. A company vehicle is provided and industry training is available to help you progress.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical engineering.
• Basic electrical knowledge would be beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to work on your own initiative.
• Build good rapport with customers.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, overhaul, fault find and resolve faults on company products.
• Respond to breakdowns.
• Provide local after sales support to customers.
• Deal promptly with customer enquiries, problems, or complaints.
• Keep control of vehicle stock/deliveries.
• Achieve agreed targets.
