Toyota Material Handling UK is seeking a Forklift Service Engineer (Field Technician) to join the After Sales team. You will service, repair, and maintain forklifts and related equipment across customer sites in the UK, with a focus on uptime and customer satisfaction.

You will respond to breakdowns, provide local after sales support, and manage stock and deliveries while working with a supportive team and access to comprehensive training and a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical engineering.
• Basic electrical knowledge would be beneficial.
• Effective planning and organisational skills.
• Able to work on your own initiative.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Build good rapport with customers.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, overhaul and fault find on forklift trucks and material handling equipment.
• Respond to breakdowns and provide local after sales support.
• Deal promptly with customer enquiries, problems, or complaints.
• Keep control of vehicle stock and deliveries.
• Achieve agreed targets.
