Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a field-based Forklift Engineer to service and repair forklift trucks and MHE across Manchester and surrounding areas. You will travel to customer sites, perform fault finding, and carry out repairs.

The role offers a Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm schedule, paid travel, overtime, ongoing training, and clear progression opportunities within an established material handling company.

Qualifications

• Forklift/MHE engineering experience
• Ideally 2+ years' industry experience
• Mechanical, electrical and hydraulic skills
• Service and fault-finding experience

Responsibilities

• Service and repair forklift trucks / MHE at customer sites
• Troubleshoot fault findings and breakdowns
• Home-based role covering a local patch
• Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm
• Paid travel and overtime at 1.5x / 2x
• Ongoing training and progression opportunities
