Job summary

Holt Recruitment Group is looking for a Mobile Forklift Engineer to service, repair and maintain a range of forklift trucks and material handling equipment in Stockport/Manchester. The role offers training and a clear career path within a supportive team.

You will work Monday to Friday during daytime shifts, with enhanced overtime rates and opportunities to maximise earnings through overtime. A company van and fuel card accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Engineering background in forklift, plant, agricultural, HGV, or automotive considered.
• NVQ or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Positive, can-do attitude and commitment to delivering quality work.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and maintain a variety of forklift trucks and material handling equipment.
• Conduct diagnostics and fault-finding to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
• Carry out planned maintenance and safety inspections to a high standard.
• Ensure all work is completed accurately and in line with company procedures.
• Contribute to a positive, productive, and safe workshop environment.
