Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a field-based Forklift Engineer to service and repair forklift trucks and MHE across Manchester and surrounding areas. You will travel to customer sites, perform fault finding, and carry out repairs.

The role offers a Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm schedule, paid travel, overtime, ongoing training, and clear progression opportunities within an established material handling company.

• Ideally 2+ years' industry experience
• Mechanical, electrical and hydraulic skills
• Service and fault-finding experience

Are you a Forklift Engineer looking for a field-based position offering a local patch, excellent overtime opportunities and ongoing technical training?

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established and growing material handling company where you can increase your earnings through overtime while receiving further manufacturer and product training.

The company are looking to recruit experienced Forklift Engineers to strengthen their Manchester team. They are known for investing in their engineers and offer excellent long-term development and progression opportunities.

In this home-based role, you will travel directly to customer sites carrying out the service, maintenance, fault finding and repair of forklift trucks and material handling equipment. Your jobs will be pre-loaded, with the majority of work covering a predominantly local patch.

The salary advertised is the bracket available for this position. The actual salary paid will be dependent on your level of experience, qualifications and skill set and will be decided by our client, the employer.
