Job summary

Lazy Carpets & Flooring is expanding across Glasgow and the surrounding areas, recruiting an experienced Field Sales Representative to visit customers’ homes. You will manage each opportunity from consultation through to close, using pre-booked appointments and a professional approach to secure sales.

The role offers a base salary of £30,000 with uncapped commission, company vehicle, pension, and employee discount. Strong field sales experience and a clean driving licence are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in flooring or closely related sales is essential.
• Proven face-to-face sales, presentation and closing skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Professional, self-motivated and able to work independently as part of a wider team.
• Clean UK driving licence and comfortable visiting customers' homes.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer requirements and budgets during visits.
• Measure rooms accurately for quotations.
• Present flooring samples and explain payment/finance options.
• Prepare accurate quotations and close sales.
• Follow up on quotations and opportunities.
• Maintain accurate customer and appointment records and deliver an excellent customer experience.
