Job summary

SGS is seeking a Fire Risk Assessor to perform assessments across commercial, industrial and public-sector environments. You will identify hazards, provide recommendations and help clients manage fire safety responsibilities.

Role is field-based in the West Midlands, with a Monday–Friday 40-hour week and a company vehicle. Candidates should have 5+ years of experience and be registered with IFE/IFSM/FRACS.

Qualifications

• Registered with a recognised professional body - IFE / IFSM / FRACS
• Full Driving Licence for use in the UK
• Minimum 5 years relevant work experience in Fire Risk Assessing
• NEBOSH Fire Safety Certificate (Desirable)

Responsibilities

• Undertake fire risk assessments across commercial, industrial and public-sector environments
• Identify and highlight fire safety risks with clear recommendations
• Produce, review and quality check detailed fire risk assessment reports
