Job summary

Universal Business Team is seeking a Fire Alarm Engineer - Field-Based to service, install, and troubleshoot extinguishers and learn fire alarm systems across Dartford, Kent and Maidstone. You will travel between sites, complete paperwork digitally, and join a structured service team with a clear progression path.

The role requires BAFE certification, a full UK driving licence, and flexibility to travel daily with occasional overnight stays. Training is provided and a company van is included.

Qualifications

• Experience in fire extinguisher or alarm servicing.
• Full UK driving licence.
• BAFE certification is required.
• Good communication, time management and a customer-first approach.

Responsibilities

• Service, install and troubleshoot portable fire extinguishers at construction sites.
• Learn and develop skills in fire alarm systems (SiteProtect and SiteNet).
• Conduct fire safety surveys and fault-finding.
• Travel between sites; door-to-door travel paid.
