A facility maintenance provider is seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Engineer to join their fire safety division in the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting various fire alarm systems across client sites. Ideal candidates will have experience with addressable systems, an understanding of fire safety regulations, strong communication skills, and a full UK driving licence. Qualifications

• Experience working with various fire alarm systems is essential.
• Knowledge of fire safety regulations like BS5839 is required.
• A full UK driving licence is mandatory for this role.

Responsibilities

• Service and commission fire alarm & AOV systems.
• Conduct PPM and reactive maintenance on fire alarm systems.
• Perform fault‑finding and diagnostics on systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records and reports.

Skills

Experience with a range of addressable and conventional fire alarm systems

Familiarity with brands like Apollo, Advanced, Kentec, C‑Tec

Understanding of fire safety regulations (BS5839)

Good communication and problem‑solving skills

Basic IT skills for completing reports and updates

Full UK driving licence
