Job summary

Netomnia in Belfast is hiring a Pre-pull Engineer for our Direct Labour Operations. You will install and service overhead and underground cabling, employing Openreach PIA and Netomnia tools to deliver first-time-right work while maintaining exceptional customer service.

This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week, with Saturdays on a rota pattern paid as overtime. Driving licence and relevant licenses required; salary £30,000–£34,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role on Openreach networks.
• Ability to conduct risk assessments and hazard identifications with strong health and safety focus.
• Proven track record in networking engineering environments (preferred).
• Excellent organisational skills and clear, concise communication.

Responsibilities

• Primarily execute customer installation pre-pulls; assist with overhead/underground cabling and CBT installation when needed.
• Manage tools and vehicle per policy.
• Complete assigned tasks on time and manage daily jobs.
• Carry out minor civil works at customer boundary including clearance of blockages.
• Install customer lead-in from Netomnia network.
• Route cables from CBT to customer property following high-quality standards and H&S practices.
