Job summary
Stantec are seeking an Environmental Geoscientist to join the Energy and Resources Group, working across contaminated land, hydrogeology and ground investigation projects from Warrington, Manchester or Shrewsbury offices. You will plan, coordinate and deliver environmental site works on a varied portfolio and support supervision, sampling and data management.
A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to on-site locations, including extended periods, are essential for this role.
Qualifications
- BSc Hons or equivalent in Geoscience, Geology, Environmental Science, Environmental Geoscience, Earth Sciences or related discipline.
- Practical understanding of ground investigation, environmental monitoring and data collection.
- Willingness to travel to project sites and long periods on site if required.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate and deliver environmental and geoscience siteworks across projects.
- Support ground investigation supervision and field data collection.
- Monitor groundwater, surface water and gas, coordinate samples and maintain field records.
- Prepare work plans, fieldwork specifications and HSSE documentation; liaise with project teams and laboratories.
