Job summary

Stantec is seeking an Environmental Geoscientist to join our Energy and Resources Group across contaminated land, hydrogeology and ground investigation projects from Warrington, Manchester or Shrewsbury offices.

You will plan, coordinate and deliver fieldworks, support ground investigation supervision, monitor groundwater and surface water, coordinate samples, and maintain field records while upholding HSSE requirements.

Qualifications

• BSc Hons or equivalent in Geoscience, Geology, Environmental Science or related field.
• Practical understanding of ground investigation and environmental monitoring.
• Experience coordinating fieldwork and data collection.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and deliver environmental and geoscience siteworks.
• Support ground investigation supervision and monitoring programs.
• Coordinate samples, maintain field records and chain of custody.
• Prepare work plans, fieldwork specifications and HSSE documentation.
• Travel to project sites as required and operate safely on site.
