Job summary

Linde Material Handling in the Castleford area is seeking a Team Leader to oversee the day‑to‑day running of the engineering team, ensuring a high‑quality customer experience. You will manage engineers working on forklift trucks and warehouse equipment across BD, HD, HX, LS, and WF postcodes, diagnose faults, schedule preventative maintenance, and train colleagues.

Applicants should have NVQ level 3 (or equivalent), a full UK driving licence, IT literacy, and strong communication and leadership

Qualifications

• Leadership and management experience within an engineering team.
• Experience in fault diagnosis and preventative maintenance on forklift trucks or similar equipment.
• Ability to train and develop engineers on IT systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day running of the engineering team in designated area.
• Diagnose faults and rectify issues on forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Maintain high-quality customer service and ensure safety standards.
