Job Description:
This role involves direct customer interaction and collaboration with the development team, suppliers, customer representatives, and engineering departments.
- Authoring End of Line (EOL) Tests and Sequences for Vehicle Manufacturer’s EOL System.
- On-site testing and deployment of EOL diagnostic hardware and software.
- Reporting and documenting test results.
- Verifying and testing EOL test sequences both in office and on-site.
- Participating in plant vehicle launches of EOL test systems.
- Resolving issues on-site with minimal assistance.
- Creating customer documentation and training materials.
- Preparing user requirement documentation.
- Maintaining good communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Managing customer systems, including change requests for software deployments.
- Using JIRA for task management.
- Installing EOL Runtime on QA and Production Servers, supporting system migrations.
- Configuring plant-specific networks for validation testing.
- Setting up and validating server-based plant management tools.
- Running SQL scripts for database management.
- Creating/updating validation test documentation.
- Participating in QA and production release reviews.
Qualifications
Essential:
- Knowledge of Windows XP, 7, 10 (32/64bit).
- Experience with VMWARE and VirtualBox.
- Understanding of Windows services and networking (TCP/IP, DHCP).
- Knowledge of vehicle diagnostics protocols (e.g., KWP2000, ISO14230, ISO15765, J1939, ISO14229, ISO13400).
- Experience with Wireshark and CAN logs.
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
- Fault-finding and debugging skills.
- Self-management of workload.
Desirable:
- Understanding OEM diagnostics and ECU configurations.
- Knowledge of ODX, OTX, Microsoft SQL Server, XML.
- Experience with JIRA, Bosch VSI simulator, VCATS, and WireShark.
