Job summary

The Opportunity Hub UK is seeking a Field Engineer for its growing industrial refrigeration service team based in Doncaster. You will deliver expert service across the UK, diagnosing issues and maintaining systems to ensure optimal performance. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in refrigeration, knowledge of ammonia systems, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• At least three years of hands-on experience in industrial machinery manufacturing or refrigeration servicing.
• Proven experience working with ammonia refrigeration systems.
• A valid ammonia handling certificate is a strict requirement for the role.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and resolving faults across industrial refrigeration systems.
• Delivering planned preventative maintenance to ensure systems operate safely and efficiently.
• Responding to breakdown callouts and carrying out on-site repairs.

Skills

Hands-on experience in industrial machinery manufacturing or refrigeration servicing

Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems

Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
