Position: CCTV Field Engineer

This is a full-time, permanent role requiring extensive UK-wide travel and out-of-office hours. The successful candidate must hold a Full UK Driving License.

Role Summary

The CCTV Field Engineer will ensure the delivery, installation, and maintenance of hardware for traffic enforcement and management products, supporting our operational objectives safely and efficiently.

Core Duties & Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with the Head of Service Management, PMO Manager, Technical Manager, and wider team to address technical issues and implement training/documentation.
2. System commissioning: install systems at client sites, oversee installation, and coordinate with engineering partners and subcontractors.
3. Software configuration: optimize system settings on-site to enhance delivery and effectiveness.
4. System support: assist helpdesk, perform system checks, troubleshoot issues, and replace hardware as needed.

Required Experience & Skills

1. Minimum two years’ experience in a technical field role, preferably with enforcement/CCTV/ANPR systems.
2. Strong understanding of Networking/IP.
3. Knowledge of hardware components (PCs, cameras, wireless devices) and networking equipment.
4. Full UK Driving License.
