H9 Talent Solutions is recruiting an Engine Rebuild Engineer for a power generation specialist serving Bristol and surrounding areas. This hands-on role focuses on gas and diesel engine installations, ensuring reliable power systems.

You will carry out rebuilds, fault diagnosis, servicing, and repair with emphasis on safety and documentation. The position includes a company van, travel time, and career development opportunities.

Formación

• Hands-on engine maintenance, repair and servicing experience.
• Strong knowledge of engine and generator fundamentals.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical/electrical faults and implement solutions.
• Experience completing service documentation and records.
• Full, valid driving licence.
• Experience with gas engines, diesel engines, generators or CHP equipment is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out engine rebuild, repair and maintenance activities alongside work on associated equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and resolve technical issues.
• Complete scheduled servicing and reactive repairs in line with manufacturers' instructions.
• Identify and plan parts, tools and resources required for repairs.
• Work with service, parts teams and contractors to complete work safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate service records and communicate progress to colleagues and customers.
