Job summary

CHG Electrical is seeking a proactive Field Electrical Project Engineer to drive electrical delivery across water and wastewater projects. You will operate between offices, project teams and live sites to ensure safe, compliant and on-spec installation, testing and commissioning.

The role covers design review, RAMS preparation, site coordination and handover, with travel across the UK and a hybrid working pattern. A driving licence and hands-on site experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering electrical projects in water/utilities or industrial infra.
• Ability to interpret electrical designs and drawings.
• Experience coordinating on-site installation and commissioning activities.
• RAMS preparation and safety coordination.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review electrical designs, specifications and drawings against project requirements.
• Coordinate electrical installation activities across water and utilities sites.
• Prepare and review RAMS ahead of site activities.
• Support procurement and subcontractor coordination.
• Test, fault find, commission and hand over electrical systems.
