Job summary
CHG Electrical in Sheffield is seeking a Field Electrical Project Engineer to deliver electrical systems across water and wastewater projects, combining design, installation, testing and commissioning. You’ll work between office, project teams and live sites to ensure LV systems, MCCs and ICA equipment are installed safely and to specification, reviewing designs and RAMS.
The role offers hybrid working, UK-wide site travel, a salary of £45k-£50k DOE plus car allowance, van, and performance
Qualifications
- Practical electrical engineering experience in water/utilities or industrial infrastructure.
- Ability to interpret electrical designs, specifications and drawings.
- Experience preparing or reviewing RAMS and coordinating safe site activities.
- Experience installing and commissioning electrical systems.
- Full UK driving licence.
Responsibilities
- Support electrical delivery across water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
- Review electrical designs and specifications; prepare and review RAMS.
- Coordinate installation activities and support procurement.
- Work with site teams to resolve technical issues.
- Remain involved through testing, fault finding, commissioning and handover.
