Job summary

CHG Electrical is delivering major water and wastewater MEICA/EICA projects across AMP8 and AMP9. The Field Electrical Project Engineer role sits between office teams and live sites to ensure LV systems, MCCs and ICA equipment are installed, tested and commissioned safely to specification.

You’ll work across the UK with site teams, subcontractors and project managers, travelling as required, and you’ll help drive quality, programme and technical problem-solving on dynamic infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Proven electrical engineering or electrical project delivery experience within water, utilities or industrial infrastructure.
• Experience supporting electrical installation and commissioning activities.
• Ability to interpret electrical designs and drawings and coordinate safe site activities.

Responsibilities

• Review electrical designs, specifications and drawings against project requirements.
• Coordinate electrical installation activities across site locations and with subcontractors.
• Prepare and review RAMS and supervise site activities to ensure safety and compliance.
• Support testing, fault finding, commissioning and handover of systems.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and assist procurement where needed.
