Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a project field engineer for the Sellafield PFCS program, delivering work planning, material management and quality control in a highly regulated nuclear environment. This role supports packaging, verification and subcontract coordination while complying with safety standards.

The position is part-time telework with at least three days per week on site, requiring flexibility and proactive learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or international equivalent required.
• Experience in an operational, highly regulated environment.
• Temporary Works Coordinator/Supervisor experience with SMSTS certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of construction drawings and schedules.
• Manage field purchases and quantity takeoffs of materials and equipment.
• Verify commodities in quantity tracking systems and databases.
• Ensure zero-accident safety and quality controls on site.
• Coordinate subcontractor submittals and inspections.
• Develop system understanding for package turnover and scope.
