Job summary

Maintech Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Electrical Commissioning & Maintenance Engineer to install, commission and service pumping equipment across customer sites nationwide from a field-based setup. You will join a two-person team with an emphasis on reliability and customer satisfaction.

The role requires hands-on electrical work, with travel across the UK, overtime opportunities, and full training where needed. A strong engineer with BS7671 exposure is ideal.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and able to work in confined spaces.
• Willing to travel nationwide with occasional overnight stays.
• Desirable: CSCS, Medium Risk Confined Spaces, SSSTS or First Aid (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Install, commission and service pumping equipment at customer sites nationwide.
• Work closely with a mechanical engineer as part of a two-person field team.
• Carry out electrical inspection and testing in line with BS7671.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults on-site.
• Support confined space works as part of pump servicing.
• Maintain accurate service, testing and compliance documentation.
• Liaise with customers to ensure high standards of service delivery.
