Job summary
WR Engineering in Hertford (with UK wide travel) is seeking an Electrical Installation and Maintenance Engineer to join a two-person team responsible for installation, commissioning and servicing of pumping equipment across the UK.
You will work alongside a Mechanical Engineer, carry out site installations, provide electrical support on-site, complete reports and travel nationwide, mainly Wales & Southwest.
Qualifications
- Must have Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification (17th or 18th Edition)
- Experience in a similar electrical or maintenance role
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel and stay away from home
Responsibilities
- Carry out installation, commissioning, and servicing of pumping systems
- Provide electrical support to a Mechanical Engineer on-site
- Attend sites across the UK, primarily Wales & Southwest
- Complete site reports and documentation accurately
- Support breakdown and aftersales service activities when required
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with procedures
- Maintain tools, materials, and equipment readiness
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams
