Qualifications

• Several years of experience in a similar ECoW or ecological monitoring role.
• Strong knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and ecological mitigation practices.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working independently in dynamic site environments.
• Full, clean UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on-site ecological supervision and monitoring for construction projects.
• Provide clear, practical ecological advice to site teams and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, planning conditions, and mitigation measures.
• Record and report ecological observations, incidents, and recommendations.
• Liaise confidently with clients, contractors, regulators, and internal teams.
