WR Engineering is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service CHP engines and related equipment in a field-based role across the North region. You will carry out planned maintenance, diagnose faults and support customers on site.

The role requires strong mechanical skills, experience with gas engines (MAN/MWM preferred) and fault finding. Overtime is paid at enhanced rates, with weekend call-outs; extensive training is provided.

Competenze

• Experience servicing CHP equipment and gas engines, ideally MAN/MWM.
• Strong mechanical engineering and fault-finding capabilities.
• Experience working with large industrial engines or engine-driven power generation equipment.

Mansioni

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance, servicing and repairs on CHP engines and associated equipment, mainly MAN and MWM.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical faults across a range of gas engine installations.
• Attend breakdowns and provide technical support to customers across your allocated region.
• Use laptop-based diagnostic software to connect to engine control systems, investigate faults and support troubleshooting.
• Undertake component replacements, engine repairs and major overhauls as required.
• Support the reliable and efficient operation of installed CHP equipment across a varied customer base.
• Complete service reports, maintenance records and associated technical documentation.
• Work independently in the field, managing your workload and prioritising customer requirements.
