Job summary

Field Sales Solutions, a leading field marketing agency, seeks a Category Development Manager for a 12-month maternity cover. You’ll drive category growth for Oral B, Olay, and Braun across stores in the UK, delivering strong in-store execution and retailer relationships.

You’ll train store teams, analyse performance with Field View, and push availability and compliance to maximise revenue in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent organisation and communication skills.
• Strong relationship-building and consultative mindset.
• Experience in category development to grow sales.
• Knowledge of grocery and high-street retail environments.
• Understanding of category management and negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Execute category strategy to high standards across stores.
• Influence in-store availability through collaboration with teams.
• Ensure back-of-house processes and system compliance.
• Improve inventory accuracy via stock takes and root-cause analysis.
• Maintain EBS fixtures to planograms, SELs and capacities.
• Be the main contact for Oral B, Olay & Braun and build store relationships.
• Conduct business reviews with store managers to drive growth.
• Use Field View to analyse performance and identify opportunities.
• Share category insights and data to drive engagement and results.
• Deliver high-quality training on products and initiatives.
