Job summary

McCarthy & Stone is seeking a Field Care Supervisor to oversee domiciliary care across Harrogate, Leeds and Bradford. You will manage a team of Mobile Care Assistants, ensure visits are compliant with CQC standards, and work alongside the Registered Care Manager.

The role requires at least 2 years of supervisory care experience, a UK driving licence, and a commitment to person-centred care. Salary up to £29,000 with a company car or car allowance; 37 hours per week with weekend work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years supervisory care experience in community, field-based, or home care.
• Level 2 Health and Social Care qualification, Level 3 preferred or willingness to work towards.
• Knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding and compliance.
• Experience creating and updating care plans and risk assessments.
• Excellent understanding of elderly care and independent living.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Support the Registered Care Manager with growth, management and delivery of care services across the area.
• Ensure services are safe, high quality and compliant with regulations and policies.
• Supervise and develop Mobile Care Assistants and Mobile Domestic & Lifestyle Support Assistants including training and inductions.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to maintain accurate care administration systems.
• Provide excellent service to residents, gather feedback, and attend development meetings.
• Advise safeguarding concerns to authorities and compliance team.
• Cover care, domestic and lifestyle calls at short notice and on alternate weekends.
• Ensure visits are clocked in/out on the careline app.
• Maintain work records and travel expense receipts.
