Job summary

Salary is £29,000 per year with a company car and mileage paid. Role supports domiciliary/community care services and offers career development within a respected retirement living company.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ UK experience in care.
• Willingness to work towards Level 3 Health & Social Care
• Experience supervising or mentoring care staff
• Knowledge of UK domiciliary or community care services

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support Care & Support Assistants across Birmingham developments
• Conduct staff supervisions, competency assessments, and spot checks
• Support the Care Performance Manager with service delivery and team management
• Carry out Homeowner reviews and care plan updates
• Ensure care services meet quality, compliance, and safeguarding standards
• Work with a multi-disciplinary team to maintain effective communication and service delivery
• Assist with administration and reporting to support care management
• Participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota
