Job summary

Alina Homecare Maldon is seeking a Field Care Supervisor to support our care team and ensure the smooth running of our Maldon services. You will supervise Care Assistants, coordinate schedules, and contribute to delivering person-centred care.

Training is provided through the Alina Homecare Academy, with opportunities for career progression to management and ongoing professional development, including potential Diploma in Health and Social Care.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and best practice.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to have difficult conversations professionally.
Full UK driving licence and own vehicle.
Flexible approach to working hours.

Responsibilities

Conducting spot checks and quality audits on care staff
Supporting new staff through shadow shifts and competency assessments
Carrying out client reviews and risk assessments
Investigating and resolving complaints or concerns
Providing hands-on care support when needed
Mentoring and coaching care staff
Ensuring compliance with CQC standards
Attending safeguarding meetings and MDT reviews
Maintaining detailed supervision records

Proven experience in providing care to people with a range of conditions
An understanding of person-centred care & support provision
Excellent communication &strong teamwork skills
Experience in a supervising & coordinating staff
IT literacy

The ability to prioritise & multitask
A driving licence & access to a vehicle
