Job summary

Helping Hands is seeking a Care and Training Practitioner to train new carers from interview to onboarding, coaching the team and maintaining quality and compliance. You’ll support on-call duties and ensure care plans stay accurate and person-centred.

The role blends field visits with branch collaboration, offering growth within a nationwide, award-winning care provider. A full UK driving licence is required to visit customers.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Care Assistant.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a roadworthy vehicle.
• Strong communication and supportive approach to teamwork.
• Keen eye for detail and ensuring compliance and quality.

Responsibilities

As a Care and Training Practitioner with Helping Hands, you’ll play a vital role in shaping exceptional care, supporting new carers from their very first interview through to their full onboarding journey. You’ll coach, guide and uplift your team while helping the branch maintain quality, compliance and meaningful relationships with customers. It’s a role full of purpose, variety and real impact.

What you’ll do

• Complete spot checks and supervisions to maintain high standards across your care team.
• Visit customers to review care plans, ensuring they remain accurate, safe and person-centred.

• Support on-call duties in line with the branch rota.
