Job summary

Reed Leeds is seeking a Field Care Supervisor to join our Community Care team. The role ensures high‑quality, person‑centred care in clients’ homes and bridges gaps between care staff, clients and management.

You will support with staffing, compliance and service improvement across the Leeds area. The position offers a competitive salary and rewards, with opportunities for training and development, 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, and health benefits.

Qualifications

• Care experience or related roles including supervising staff.
• Understanding of confidentiality, safeguarding and CQC regulations.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Able to work independently and travel as required.
• Experience with IT systems and databases (Excel, Word) or electronic care management systems.
• First Aid/Moving and handling, medication training encouraged.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments and regular reviews of client care plans and risk assessments.
• Perform spot checks, quality monitoring visits and audits to ensure compliance.
• Ensure care packages meet individual needs and preferences.
• Supervise, mentor and support care workers in the field.
• Conduct staff supervisions, appraisals and competency assessments.
• Maintain accurate records and reporting with regulatory requirements.
• Act as liaison between clients, care workers and management.
