Job summary

Mitchell Maguire is seeking a Business Development Manager to sell a high quality range of structural insulated panels across Scotland’s Central Belt. You will target architects, housebuilders, developers and contractors to generate specifications and manage projects through to completion.

The role focuses on new business development with a turnover target around £2m, offering a base salary of £40,000–£50,000 plus uncapped commission and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must have construction sales experience selling off-site manufacturing solutions OR timber frame systems OR structural roofing systems / insulated panels.
• Experience selling to housebuilders, developers, local authorities and smaller residential self-builders.
• Ideally have specification / contractors selling experience.

Responsibilities

• Field sales position selling a high quality manufactured range of structural insulated panels.
• Sell to architects, medium housebuilders, developers, local authorities and smaller self-builders.
• Generate specification and follow project through to completion with contractors, developers.
• Generate new business relationships and grow turnover toward circa £2m.
