Job summary

Mitchell Maguire is seeking a Business Development Manager – Structural Insulated Panels to cover Scotland (Central Belt). You will drive new business by selling a high-quality range of structural insulated panels to architects, housebuilders, developers and local authorities.

The role targets projects ranging from 10 to 60 homes, with a base salary of £45,000-£50,000 plus uncapped commission and an OTE of £65,000+, plus a comprehensive benefits package and potential car allowance.

Qualifications

Must have construction sales experience selling off-site manufacturing solutions, timber frame, or related structural panels.
Experience selling to housebuilders, developers, local authorities and self-builders.
Specification/contractor selling experience is a plus.
Strong presentation and communication skills; customer-focused.

Responsibilities

Field sales position selling a high quality manufactured range of structural insulated panels
Sell to architects, medium housebuilders, developers, local authorities and smaller self-builders
Typical project sizes: 10–60 residential houses
Target self-build / small developer projects such as Grand Designs
Generate specification and follow projects through to completion with contractors, developers
Focus on generating new business relationships
Target turnover circa £2m once up and running
