Job summary

360 Recruitment is seeking a Mechanical Ventilation Engineer to service and maintain ventilation systems across residential and commercial properties. The role involves field-based work with MVHR/MEV/PIV units, ensuring safe operations and high customer service on-site.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on ventilation/HVAC experience, fault-finding skills, and a full UK driving licence, with opportunities for training and development.

Qualifications

• Experience with ventilation, HVAC or building services equipment.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Good mechanical and basic electrical knowledge.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Experience with MVHR, MEV or PIV systems.
• Airflow testing and commissioning experience.
• NVQ or equivalent in Ventilation/HVAC/Building Services.
• BPEC Domestic Ventilation qualification.
• Experience in social housing environments.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair ventilation systems including MVHR, MEV and PIV units.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults.
• Complete planned maintenance, filter changes and deep cleans.
• Install and replace ventilation units and associated components.
• Conduct airflow testing and system commissioning.
• Complete service reports and documentation.
• Identify remedial works and provide recommendations.
• Deliver excellent on-site customer service.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with industry standards.
