Wolverhampton Homes Ltd in Wolverhampton is seeking an experienced Building Surveyor to lead our Property Inspectorate function, providing expert surveying, asset management and investment advice across thousands of homes. You will guide strategic asset planning and manage complex building issues to ensure sustainability, safety and value for residents.

This senior role requires strong leadership and collaboration with customers, contractors and internal teams.

Formación

• Qualified Building Surveyor or experienced construction professional with strong technical expertise
• Experience managing housing assets, planned maintenance programmes or capital projects
• Ability to investigate complex building defects and provide practical, cost-effective solutions
• Confident in leading teams, influencing stakeholders and driving service improvement

Responsabilidades

• Leading and developing our Property Inspectorate Team
• Delivering strategic asset planning and investment recommendations
• Managing complex building pathology, structural and compliance issues
• Producing option appraisals and technical reports to inform investment decisions
• Overseeing planned maintenance and refurbishment projects
• Reviewing designs, specifications and construction proposals for major projects
• Supporting compliance with building safety, housing and health and safety legislation
• Working closely with customers, contractors, consultants and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes for residents
