Job summary

Co-op Wholesale is growing, and we’re looking for a Retail Development Manager to look after a portfolio of independent retailer sites across the South Midlands. You’ll travel regularly to partner sites and visit our Scunthorpe head office once a month to connect with the team.

You will build relationships, provide operational guidance, identify opportunities for commercial growth, and work with IT, logistics and operations to resolve issues and deliver a seamless service.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in field sales or FMCG.
• Experience building partnerships that drive commercial results.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• Good IT skills and the ability to interpret data.
• Full UK driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with retailers to grow their business.
• Provide operational guidance and support to retailers.
• Manage your schedule and visit retailers across your region.
• Collaborate with head office teams to resolve issues quickly and deliver a seamless service.
• Deliver against KPIs and drive improvements.
