Job summary

KMC Recruitment is recruiting for an Area Sales Manager to cover the South of the UK. The role focuses on developing existing accounts and winning new business across hire, construction, industrial and related markets, with autonomy to drive regional sales and targets.

The successful candidate will promote a broad portfolio of power generation equipment and build strong relationships with customers, dealers and contractors. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven background in field-based B2B sales.
• Experience developing both existing accounts and new business.
• Strong longevity and a demonstrable track record with previous employers.
• Experience selling into hire, construction, industrial or associated markets.
• Relationship-led, face-to-face sales approach.
• Strong commercial awareness and experience managing a territory and sales targets.
• Ability to understand and confidently sell technical products.
• Self-motivated to manage a large geographical territory.
• Strong communication, negotiation and customer relationship skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow existing customer accounts across the territory.
