Job summary

Flogas Britain is seeking a Health and Safety Support Manager to drive HSE excellence across Distribution, Production and Manufacturing. You will support the Head of Occupational Health & Safety, delivering effective systems and a positive safety culture.

The role requires travel, field-based work, and strong coaching ability to influence practices across multi-site operations. Training and development opportunities are provided within a growing energy business aiming for renewable solutions.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of HSE legislation and standards.
• Experience with safety management systems and risk controls.
• Experience investigating HSE incidents and near misses.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills across levels.
• Proficient written and oral communication; IT skills including databases.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently and travel as needed.
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel regularly.

Responsibilities

• Provide HSE guidance and support to regional senior management and teams across Operations.
• Act as regional HSE lead and collaborate with local teams to drive safety and sustainability improvements.
• Ensure alignment with external standards and local challenges; promote a positive safety culture.
• Lead and monitor critical HSE systems ensuring compliance with statutes and company standards.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, regulators and partners to minimise risk and losses.
• Support implementation of HSE initiatives and drive continuous improvement.
